The Australian boxing team complained that the faulty weigh-in scales at the venue were showing nearly all fighters overweight.

The competition manager Lenni Gama has denied about any problem with the scales and said that the scales were perfect and all this fuss was created by the teams, who had overweight boxers in their team. The technical delegate for the event Ray Silva said that everything was OK and weigh-in will now take place on Tuesday morning.
Australian official, John Gatfield said that their boxer Jason Maloney, weighed in and found he was a fraction over, but it showed Jason Maloney was find a half a kilogram over from the last reading, after he went to the sauna trying to lose some weight and when they came back.

Australia is leading in the medal tally of the XlX Commonwealth Games. On day one they bagged four golds and two silver. On day two of the event Australian are likely to win maximum gold in Swimming event.
