IT IS a sheer wastage of money to spend so much on ‘beautifying Delhi’ in the name of Commonwealth Games, which are proving to be nuisance for Delhites instead of entertainment! Only political rulers, bureaucrats and others entitled for bulk of free passes are going to benefit from these games being held in Delhi apart from those getting bribes for various projects related to Commonwealth Games…..

Ace athletes backing out from Commonwealth games

IN WHAT can be termed as a major blow to the Commonwealth Games 2010 being held in India, many ace athletes like Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt have backed out from the event as they want to concentrate on “other” events. Other such athlete who cited same reason to drop Commonwealth Games from their itenerary  are Olympic champion Victoria Pendleton and Jessica Ennis……

Commonwealth exhibition train to ply

In order to promote Commonwealth Games, a special exhibition train 'Commonwealth Express' has been arranged by Railway and IT Ministry.

THE COMMONWEALTH Express is a joint project between the Information and Technology Ministry and Railway Ministry. The exhibition train will travel to each state and will stop at fifty selected stations across the country……

DEATH OF two persons due electrocution near Dariba (Chandni Chowk) at Delhi was the outcome of total negligence shown by concerned authorities. It is pertinent that corrective action should have been taken, when it came to notice of the authorities that the light-pole at road-divider opposite Dariba was not working properly and could cause electrocution. The heavy downpour on July 12 made the matters worse and it lead to the death of death of two persons due to electrocution. ……
