Commonwealth Games to promote sports in India

Commonwealth games is  an intense mixing of sports and politics. In India sports is not a five letter word but it is a seven letter word that is Cricket. Commonwealth games were a political connotation. It was political game which basically meant that any nation who wants to join commonwealth has to have a relation with one of the commonwealth games nation. Cameron became a part of commonwealth by practising such a method. In 1950’s South Africa was excluded from participating because of the fact that Apartheid was still practised and African people were considered as slaves. There was a huge hue and cry when Africa requested Robert Malden who was a right extremist of racist view not to make rugby players of newzeland and Africa to meet which was rejected and hence led to boycott in 1976…..
